| Terry Wynyard established Wynyard Dispute Resolution Limited in 2007. Terry is a qualified dispute resolver with several years experience in various aspects of alternative dispute resolution and complaint investigation. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies at Massey University majoring in dispute resolution. Terry has always had a passion for helping other people to overcome problems so the natural career path for him has been to head into this type of work. It has been 40 years in the making as he worked first as a plumber and drainlayer for 20 years and then a further 20 years in local government management; he has now established his own company! The fact is those 40 years experience in a wide variety of situations have only enhanced Terry’s ability to work alongside all types of people from all walks of life and provided ample opportunities for him to put his skills to good use. One such opportunity was the floods of May 2005 in Tauranga. Floods that caused immense damage to both private property and public infrastructure.Terry was up to his chest in managing the recovery from those floods and had to call on his level head, diplomatic ability and commonsense but at the end of the day he helped numerous people and organisations. One particular aspect of that recovery work that can be largely attributed to Terry, is his ability to not only resolve disputes but also to prevent disputes from escalating into legal proceedings. |
